Senior Verification Engineer

Perform functional and system level verification for network applications in an ISP environment.
Lead QA release planning, resource allocation, and tracking.
Develop test plans, test strategies, and test tools to verify the application meets or exceeds design guidelines.
Simulate and implement ISP environment to perform integration and system level testing (i.e. interoperability, performance, scaling, etc).
Create or implement tools and methodology to monitor network services, servers, appliances, etc.
Leverage or create test tools to automated test cases to maximize efficiency.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
5-10+ years of verification experience in both hardware platforms and software systems.
Several years of experience in UNIX and/or Linux-based system development. In depth experience and knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality products through development of comprehensive verification planning.
Perform different types of testing including: black/white box functional testing, regression testing, performance/load testing, integrated testing and certification testing.
Extensive knowledge of commercial and open-source verification tools.
Strong working knowledge of automated testing techniques, scripts, & tools. Familiarity with Java.
Experience working with customers, specifically on initial product releases to assist in product trials, issue tracking and problem resolution.
Strong team and skills. Demonstrated ability to make technical decisions and influence team members with regards to technical direction.
Ability to work in a small, dynamic team. Able to take on multiple roles and responsibilities as needed.
Desirable to have security background in intrusion prevention/detection, malware and vulnerability analysis
