Service providers need a compelling business case to roll out new value-added services. This could be a new revenue stream or alternative business models such as differentiating their core services or reducing churn among their existing subscriber base.

Kindsight Intent Analytics scores the Internet traffic of opted-in subscribers to gain insights into interests and infer buying intent. These scores can be used as input to monetize no-cost services through advertising, customer relationship management or other marketing uses.

With Intent Analytics, service providers can offer the Kindsight Security Services at no cost by scoring the traffic of opted-in users and then displaying more relevant ads by leveraging the Kindsight Ad Network. These scores can also be used to target ads on the service provider portal and TV properties.

In addition to monetizing value-added services, Intent Analytics can also be used to provide marketing and customer insights including audience segmentation, product interests, or aggregate web activities. More importantly, service providers can use these insights to infer customer satisfaction or service quality issues and reduce churn.

Kindsight Intent Analytics was designed using privacy-by-design principles and to meet the highest standards for privacy. Using transparent language for informed, opt-in consent ensures Kindsight sets a new industry standard and surpasses government requirements for privacy.

For example, if a service provider offers the no-cost option for the Kindsight Security Service, the subscriber must agree to transparent terms that describe the relevant advertising process or they can choose to pay a monthly fee to sign-up for the service.

Kindsight Intent Analytics enables a win-win scenario as consumers receive a valuable network-based security service at no charge and service providers are able to offer new service to their subscribers for free while generating revenue through advertising or other alternative business models.
